This is me performing a monthly "TEST" of the Stand Alone Smoke Detectors & the Obsolete AC/DC smoke Detectors in my apartment.

I didn't throw the old units away, I put em back up and no longer test them. I leave that to the Housing Inspector & to the Mainteince man.

  • it looks like u were fliping the bird the the camra

  • where i live we're allowed to throw these away haha. it's not considered a huge deal as the radiation does not leave the detector

  • i like the ones that do 4/6

  • HA HA HA "CODE 3"

  • wow cool

when we went for our vacation

    the beach house had these.

and my grandpa had this kind of smoke alarm

but he had a switch on it so that when he would smoke a cigar it would not go off

  • DO NOT THROW THESE AWAY, they're Ionization detectors which have a radioactive element in them. Your community should have a hazardous waste disposal facility that you can take them to. Also I would recommend the PI2000 detectors.
