Man im a freshman in HS... This was my Middle school. Its so sad to see all my memories just burned to the ground, knowing that it'll never be the same school again....
It was such a historical building too...

Whatcom ALWAYS has to upstage Kulshan. No one remembers our fire 1994 (probably because it wasn't opened, but oh well), but when WMS is on fire, it's the main story on the news

I bet some kid who went to Whatcom was mad about Shuksan getting a new school so he he burned it down so they would have to build a new one.

RIP WMS. I loved this place, was there as a 8th grader for the 100th year, great year. Now I really hope, the 8th graders are coming to BHS, I'll support them tykes.

hi im from fairhaven middle school and one of my friends dad told us that the 6th graders are being split into Geneva and wade king i think. 7th graders are going to fairhaven and shuksun and 8th graders are going to bellingham high school . of course the district isnt sure yet exactly if this is the exact schools they might switch it around though. :)
