when will the nationalists see that the majority don't want independence. Devolution is a great thing, I'm all for it and so are most people, but polls consistently show that only about 28% of Scots want independence whereas about 65% want the Union to remain in place. So much for 20 seats at Westminster, I forget but didn't you only score 6? And the silent majority in Glasgow East showed you their disgust by unseating your candidate.

@BillDFC Gordon Brown is Scottish, Blair is of Scottish descent and Scottish Born. Cameron is of Scottish desent too. The English public were against the war as much as the British public in general.

I have to admire Gordon Brown, after all, being £173 billion in debt is quite an achievement!......wonderful! Let's invade some more countries!
English Imperialism is alive and well!

Scottish republic all the way.

They call them ''Labour folk''. When they should call them ''selfish traitors within.''
Typical bbc doublespeak.

then why the fuck dont yall give ireland the northern piece, since most irish want it ?
so yall gonna give scotland independence even if the majority want it ? hell no, yall english always play dirty, the snp already won the election with an independence program, that means most scots want it, but yall wont give it, just like you dont give gibraltar back to spain for 300 years.

The Scottish are a celtic people, the English are not. Why shouldent the scot's have their own country and identity. By the way there is alot of off shore oil rig's in Scottish waters. I think the scot's could butter their own bread, both side's.
Oh dear! You better get off YouTube beatityatube as you are depriving your village of its idiot. Also your mystical powers of mind reading seem to be a tad off. For one I'm not a 'nationalist'. Secondly, a lot of Germans parents/grandparents could have been Nazi supporters. That does not make them Nazis. Its HMG's job to check out potential Nazis. Not the SNP's. Thirdly at the end of WW2 the Western allies let a lot of Nazis off the hook.
I suggest you get some home schooling.

i think the victory of the snp is just the beginning, and like ireland, scotland has to be a recognized country in the EU, the irish got it but they had to fight for it, and you scots will have to do the same, cause the english always play dirty,
