@heathergate22: XD. I'm glad you can see the split ends on your computer screen. I can't of course because long hair doesn't mean you have that many split ends. Just saying.

Wearing long hair down leaves it vulnerable to damage. Most long-haired people (esp. women) only take it down for special occasions or at home. Besides, there are so many beautiful hairstyles that you can only do with long hair!

What happened with the longer edition of this video???

I personally just like to put my hair in a ponytail, put it in a knot, and then bobby pin it in place. It's like having short hair again!

ha I thought my hair was long before seeing this video

I loved this video! I actually was able to replicate the first hair style on my own hair and it was quick and easy and looked great and I got a few compliments! I would love to see more of this production or be directed to where I might be able to purchase the dvd...

way. too. long.
At 3:00 what type of clip is it or where do you find them. I have thick hair and most clips don't hold unless it's huge and then the clip show.

@Mscottonblossom She is using a "claw clip". They can be found at any store that sells hair supplies. Her hair is quite thin, so she braided her hair to give it volume. The trick with any of the claw clips and weighty hair is to use an elastic band underneath the clip. It helps anchor the clip and takes some of the weight and pressure off the clip.

@run4thedemon It took some practice for me to do it. Eventually I had to improvise since my hair is much longer and not as thick as hers is. For me to be able to put it up with out clips/bands I have to make two or three knots. Do the first one like hers, keeping it firm and tight, then take the rest of the hair and make another knot around the base of the first one. Repeat until most of the hair is used, then wind the last bit of hair around and under the other knots and then tuck the last bit.
