You look great. I might be too lazy to try the three strand twist, but I find if I twist my hair dry (2 strand) it comes out more coily than if I twist it when it's wet. Oh wait, maybe that's vice versa. I pretty much live in a two strand twist (or twist out), so this is something I'll have to try.

LOL! Miss Cealy's blues!

Crap, I thought I was twisting but I ended up with a braid. LOL! I guess, I will try another time. I can't try again. It's too late and I have work in the morning.

Oooo I really like this twist out! I gotta try the 3 strand twist!

I get the exact same results you do: Waves/crimps with two-strands, corkscrew coils with three-strands. It's just another one of the many styling options we have for our natural hair. :)

thanks for the info because my hairs waves and it does not coil but with the three strands I did today, I now have beautiful coils. The one thing I realize I need to be close to dry to achieve lenght. so Thank you thank you three strand
My hair is only about 3-4 inches, think my hair will look ok with these? I am like you my two strand twist are wavy not coily :( I am going to try anyway and see what happens

How long does it usually take for twists to turn into dreadlocks??

I'm not locked, but I understand it depends on your hair texture/curl pattern. Sorry for the vague answer.
