Sketchbook Pro 2010 - Tonal Concept Sketch.
Some post work in Photoshop and After Effects

The inspiration for the design was from an image I found on Feng Zhu Designs old website.
As per an earlier video it was meant to look like a canson paper rendering.

  • Is that Rick Astley I hear??

  • @Pivotman1

Don't think so.... was a piece I selected from the Youtube stock.

  • Hi im a concept artist on a game mod so I make no money at it what so ever but as of right now Im using photoshop now would it be better if I switched to this program or what are the pros and cons if I switch?

  • @machinimater

    Sorry for the delay.

Photoshop is my preferred digital painting program, it has better functionality, and broader market acceptance.

However the good side of Sketchbook Pro is its cheap, it has good flow, and does what its designed to do.

  • @nigelgough2 thank you for the information and great concept

  • @machinimater

I did a review on Sketchbook Pro 2010 last year that may be of interest.

It give you the pros and cons you were looking for.

If you search for Australian Association of Architectural Illustrators.

Go to the home page, you shuold see a link if you scroll down the right hand side.

Shoot me an email if you have any other questions. Happy to help

    Thanks for the comment.

Sorry I can't recall the music it was a stock item on Youtube

  • Nice concept. I have SBpro and love it as much as I loved Fractal Design's Painter back in the day using a Calcomp Tablet. Whats the background music?

  • The end animation was done in After Effects, a little bit of clunky parralax, but it was a useful experiment with a program I hardly ever touch.

  • very nice! ty. i would like to know how to make the final animation, what software do you use? is it photoshop? ty alot
