Love Caroline O'Connor, she is AMAZING!
Saw her when the tour was in Brissy, she completely owned the stage.
I love her voice, it really does sound like something out of a 1920's caberet bar! :)

@timtimato1 exactly!! I was walking with two friends of mine, thinking about her great performance as Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd. Then I turned my head and saw her crossing my way...! I was breathless, speechless..! I started getting so excited, and followed her.... then take all my courage and shout Excuse me!! Miss O'connor!!!! She turned back , with a smile!! And I was so impressed!!! I am in a Musical Drama School, and We just had a lesson about her career a few days ago... fantastic!!!!! :D

@888BJSTAR888 I'm Guessing you met her in Paris and got her autograph? I met her years ago and couldn't actually form words.... I felt like such a spanner and she was so nice about everything... I was still in Drama School and had just seen her in Mack and Mabel (London). x

Caroline's great, but I think the ensemble showed much more control and precision in the 2010 staging with Sharon Millerchip and Gina Riley out front. It's too messy for me here.
