This is a short, spur of the moment video about how we ought to honor God by honoring our husbands and welcome them home with love, gratitude and humility.
There seems to be a popular trend these days where "authenticity" means you have to be without makeup, without a shower, without...well, you get the picture -- and it's just not true! It's all about the outside (just like the gals who over do it the other way...it's all still fake, b/c it's about what's on the outside and not what's on the inside). Being authentic means you know who you are in Christ and you're fully satisfied with that and don't feel like you have to prove anything to anyone, including the crowd that's saying if you wear makeup and look halfway decent, you're hiding behind a "mask" and just putting on a show. This is not biblical and really, it's just reverse snobbery.
Whether you're a Christian-stay-at-home-mom and/or have the luxury to work from home, please don't use that as an excuse to leave your husband with only the scraps from your day.
Our primary calling and ministry as wives and moms is first to our husbands, then to our kids, then to our jobs, ministry, friends, etc.
@DarleneSchacht, Thanks Darlene! May the Lord God alone be glorified as His daughters live in accordance with His will and not what's "popular" at the time. :o)
