Been saying for months that cap-and-trade and UHC could get passed, but they'd have to get passed ASAP.
If your party just came to power and you're trying to implement a new agenda, every day you take to celebrate is another day that the minority party has to get into its guerilla groove. Things are at an impasse now, and likely to stay that way for quite awhile.
