Ah, the hunt for Halloween costumes...in a foreign country. I was about to resign myself to something from the PX (or online) when my wife told me about some mysterious and possibly mythical place: The Fabled Dongdaemun Toy Alley. We of course went to find it. We found toys, oh yes. TOYS. We also discovered that Halloween is seemingly popular in S. Korea. We were able to satisfy the discerning tastes of my two older daughters and added some Chinese-style paper jack-o-lantern lamps to the bargain. Fantastic. We WILL be back for stocking stuffers and other tidbits nearer to Christmas time... (NOTE: I started out with the right name, and somehow switched to Namdaemun...THIS IS in Dongdaemun!) Taking kids into a part of the city that is all toys stores will do that to ones mind) Sorry for the confusion!
I love that area.

I plan on spending mass amounts of Won there closer to Christmas. I hope some holiday lighting goes up, will look pretty nice.

Also, this is actually in Dongdaemun, as I started out correctly saying in the video. Somehow I lost my mind later. I blame the children.
