I know this is a lot later on from your completion of the let's play, but I just want to say how brilliant you are in this one. Your expertise with the game is clearly noticeable and your comments are witty, sharp, and enlightening, whilst never being too intrusive. Easily one of the best I've seen, thank you for uploading this! It also helps that it's a great game, of course ;)
, no nonsense attitude. And I can sympathize with that. That's pretty much the ideal of the current society. Uta's contemplation is easily misunderstood: she's not apathethic. She acts by saying the right word at the right time. Since I see the ascension as the awakening of a soul which will, in turn, affect the whole world, I think that the last thing we need is another, blazing source energy released, glorious as it may be. What we need is to calm the fuck down. :)
See, one of the few really interesting things Jung has ever said is that there is some sort of Economics of the Psyche. The theory was, essentially, that each personality is useful, as a resource for society. We are all needed but each age has its myths. In fact, Uta symbolizes just the kind of character that the current society feels it has no use for: the quiet, seren contemplation with the willingness to give something back in return. A lot of people voted for Eli because of her business-like
I stumbled upon this LP during my third playthrough, after two embarassingly atrocious attempts. I was looking for advice and...well, let's just say that going back to the game without the narrating voice you provided felt almost like the game was emptier. Watching all the videos together, I have noticed that a recurring comment is: you are the perfect person for a LP of this game. And I agree wholeheartedly. I know it's late, but I'd like to give something in return: I would have voted for Uta.
I really enjoyed watching your LP, and was saddened to learn that you haven't done anything new for over a year. I like your philosophical musings regarding the content of the game - it works really well with The Void.
I've bought this game after watching your play through. You commentate particularly well, much better than a large number of the LPer's out there. Are you considering doing anything in the near future?
I've never watched a LP before. I was always afraid that I wouldn't get the full experience, that it would be dull and meaningless. This wasn't the case here, for your commentary and insight was crucial to my understanding and appreciation of this game. I do own it, but was put off by its generally discouraging nature. This way, it was like playing with a friend and discussing it as you go, and if the game itself doesn't provide the motivation for finishing, then the discussion does. Thanks.

I've seen nearly all the endings with the console commands, and they're just SOUL CRUSHING.
