Actually, whether they like it or not, it's one of their nicknames. And it's not just ''little high school kids'' who call them that. I have friends throughout other corps, including Phantom Regiment, that call them the Cavies. So original poster is wrong, and now so are you.

Actually as a former member of the corps we really didn't care what people called us, we just tried to present ourselves well and perform well for the fans, and for the record, it's not just highschool kids that called us the cavies, many adults and alumni still do.

@trumpetgod07 I am a current member of the Cavaliers, we prefer Cavaliers but yes Cavies is a nickname that many people call us. However given the choice we would rather go by our ACTUAL name.
Thank you Frenctic for spreading the the fact that we don't enjoy being called cavies... we actually make fun of people who call us that.
