Mary Jane Harper Cried Last Night is a Golden Globe nominated CBS television film starring Susan Dey as an abusive mother. The film , which aired in October 1977, was written and produced by Joanna Lee (based on her novel of the same name) and featured a supporting cast including Rhea Perlman, Kevin McCarthy and Natasha Ryan as Mary Jane Harper.   • who here thinks that if Rowena had a MUCH better Dr AND went those Parent A meetings that she might have been in the "recailmable" catagory ?

  • also, why would doctor give a three-year-old a doll that broke that easily instead of a nice rubber or plastic nonbreakable one?  I know it makes a point for the camera, but no doctor is that stupid.

  • and while we're at it, a smoke detector in your house is also a good thing...
