Chynn Blood Diamond

Dr. Chynn was the 1st doctor in New York City to implant a real $3,000 diamond in a patient's arm, for use as a portable, hidden, secret, safe "bank" for emergency purposes.

This patient often travels to Eastern Europe and other parts of the world where it is, unfortunately, common for tourists and other travelers to be detained or harassed or "shaken down." Dr. Chynn thus implanted a real diamond in this patient's arm after sterilizing it and soaking it in an antibiotic solution to prevent infection. The diamond was oriented pointed side down, to prevent extrusion through the skin, and buried in the sub-dermal space, after blunt dissection with Wescott forcepts. The wound was closed with interrupted 8-0 nylon sutures, which were removed after 8 days. The procedure went well, without complications, and was totally painless.

Now, this patient has 24/7 access to an emergency stash of funds for the rest of his life, in all parts of the world!

I want diamonds in my body! I would hate to be in another country with a different language while trying to tell the doctor what they need to get out of my arm! Very cool though.
