well, sayin since thats a 96+ mustang with no GT badge on the side of the car im guessing it was a v6 mustang converted?. why would the owner put a 306 stroker in his car if there wasnt a supercharger or nitrous?-----

the only reason any1 uses a 306 is to get a cheap forged motor. most 306 actually have less power than stock 302s due to the lower compression.

@thunderup86 If you would have used at least ONE period, this bunch of shit you typed might have made sense. How about this: I have an 84 Trans Am with a 383 stroker, edlebrock set up. It has 3.42 gears, hooker super comp headers and a th400 tranny. It runs middle 11's on the track, but would be faster with a trans brake. Long story short, 383 strokers produce massive amounts of torque. Mine is rated at 460lbs. of tq and 410hp. I was surprised the mustang was even able to get the jump. Better?

@manten88 a 306 is not a stroker motor , all it is a a 302 bored .030 over stock , my 88 mustang has a 306 an it has more compression than stock . there for more power not less
