NHPO Summer Retreat

Each June for the past four years NHPO has hosted a weekend retreat in our nation's capitol, Washington D.C. Each year this popular NHPO activity keeps getting better and better.

During this interactive fast paced retreat not much time is spent indoors. Briefings, Professional Development and Educational Seminars are often conducted in the field and at different locations throughout the District of Columbia.

Tours of the D.C. monuments and the Smithson Institute Museum's are highlights of the NHPO Summer Retreat. Attendees will also experience political briefings, photo ops in front of the White House, view the Declaration of Independence, visit the Library of Congress, tour our nation's capitol, watch U.S. currency being printed and much more.

The NHPO Summer Retreat is open to NHPO member's family and friends. NHPO affiliate collegiate chapters and members of partnering corporations are also welcome.
