Only what has been taught in this regard is that if someone attack on u, u have the full right to defend it, but if they overtake it from u then u r bound to tht authority. And if that authority does not allow u to practice ur religion then u move from that place and do "hijra". In this era countless books are being written against Quran, Islam and Prophet Mohammed. Beauty of Islam is that it describes everything its consequences and as well as its causes. Jihaad means to defend not to destroy. In this era no one is destroying the "RELIGION OF ISLAM". In America more 1o million muslims are living they are given th right to pray, preach and every thing they can do according to sharia. I totally agree with 'pokjnbgfew'.. Islam is a religion of peace .. these extremists have distorted the image of Islam...Jihad is not just waging war but infact the best Jihad is to fight against urself.. straighten ur own conduct and live a fair and clean life.. that is real jihad... Today Jihaad is not of the sword but all with the pen as these kuffaar are wtriting against islam but we...? still thinking tht sword is only solution. This is all wrong. Where in holy Quran it says to impose religious obligations by force. However it says "thr is no compelsion in religion". Tell me whr and when prophet Mohammed killed any jew or any kafir in Medina or Mecca( after capturing Mecca) Yes, he made jews to leave not because of religious issues. During early era of islam, islam spreaded not by sword but by the attributes and behaviour and conduct of islam. which impressed the ppl to enter in it.
