  • does it have a HAMI????

  • sorry, it has displayport, which is easy to convert to hdmi, but no hdmi!

  • I have this laptop and its really good.

I have tried so many models and brands, and the hp 2540p is considered a truly nice one, but just need to say that I have the SSD inside instead of the normal hard disk and this is making a huge difference on its own along with the i7.

    Thanks

  • @chip77c agreed. this is a great choice for a 12-inch laptop

  • We switched all our Latitude notebooks to the new EliteBook line earlier this year. The build quality and durability is amazing on these EliteBooks. They are very sturdy and not the cheap plastic Dell has decided to use on their Latitude/Precision line, our executives had broken bezels, palm rests, you name it it broke on the Latitudes. Thanks for the video.

  • @dishneggo Thanks for watching. Awesome to hear from someone using these day to day in a business setting!

  • I work for HP and my new company laptop will be one of these. It looks like it shares the same basic chassis layout as my old Compaq nc2400 which has given me 3.5 years of very reliable service (but has got rather slow in the last year or so!) . After reading this and other reviews I'm looking forward to receiving my replacement machine!

  • ive heard the hp 2560 construction feels kind of cheap. I have a 2540 and it feels pretty solid but im planning to updrage

  • @CreamofVideoGames I am!! :)

  • Who else is watching this on their 2540p?

If you go to 2:45 its like Inception!

  • @froger76 yes theres 1.8" SSD

  • whats the problem with using plastic? sure it dont feel nice like a metal when u touch it, but these metals are mined from places where miners get very less money and the manufacturing of these laptops with these metals takes a lot of energy and resources which is really bad for the environment

  • Where is the mic port? there is only one for the headset.

  • i have just bought one of these of these and seems to have the 1.8" normal hard drive in it. if i want a ssd do i just need a standard 1.8" sata ssd or not as simple as that?

  • I have this notebook and I have to say it has the worst possible design:

    - cramped keyboard (PgUp/PgDn - completely misplaced with two empty spots next to arrows) - I hate browsing with this thing

    - heavy and ugly as hell (the extended battery looks just awful)

    - LEDs and touch panel is too bright too slow

all in all this is no way "elite" line and whoever designed this thing probably never used laptop.... my rundown old Sony Vaio which cost the same is still better than this brick.

  • does anyone know if i can fit a SSD into this instead of the sata?
