The two non-robot appearing characters have more robotic delivery than the Cyberman.

I'll be honest. I've seen better acting in Doctor Who fanfilms. But it was well written. The logic in knowing facing the Doctor will result in failure was a great idea, the Basketball match was amusing and lighthearted Doctor Who fun, and rewiring a Cyberman husk to operate as an optical relay was worthy of the genuine tv series.
