Part three of my Just Forget the World series is finally done! ^_^ And yes, I have brought Kadaj in the mix! =D
I had so much trouble with this one...first I couldn't find I decent song to use, then I couldn't decide between using Kadaj or Seymour (wasn't a hard decision, Seymour's icky. xP), then I couldn't find any decent voiceovers to use so I ended up using Tidus's voice for Kadaj since I had no audio clips for him in English. x_X
But as long as this video does well, then it was worth it. =3 There is a 4th and final part that I'm almost done with. It's kinda short, so I'll be uploading it sometime next week.
There was a general agreement that everyone wanted a third part to this series, but only Rebekah specifically requested it. (in place of her real screen-name which she doesn't like, lol.)
Enjoy, and be sure to read the whole story! =D
STORY:
Tidus was dead, and Yuna was now alone. Seeing his lifeless body at the funeral, she immediately broke down in tears.
With her was her childhood friend Kadaj. They had been the very best of friends, though when Tidus entered the picture Kadaj had become part of the background, so he couldn't feel much sympathy for Yuna's loss. He was more focused on his feelings for Yuna.
"What'll I do?" Yuna sobbed, not knowing where to go from this point.
"Just forget all that." Kadaj told her, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. Forget Tidus...and be with him, was what he meant.
"Live a normal life," he said. Yuna recognized that voice...it was him. But Tidus was dead, right? She looked up, and sure enough there he was, as if he'd never given up his life for her. He smiled at her once more before turning and disappearing.
Yuna, unaware that it was actually Kadaj who had spoken those words, chased after her hallucination, refusing to let him fade.
Now Kadaj was hurt after watching her choose a fading illusion over him. He refused to let her go so easily.
Once she gave up on her search, Kadaj approached to comfort Yuna after she collapsed to the ground. All she could do was give him an apologetic look.
Without another word, Kadaj dropped to one knee and asked his best friend to marry him. Yuna was shocked at his straightforwardness, but couldn't deny that she felt something for him as well. After her last illusion of Tidus slipped through her fingers, she realized she had to listen to his last words; she had to at least try to move on and live a normal life. With that in mind, she agreed to marry Kadaj.
Now it was only a matter of breaking the news to her friends and family. They didn't like the idea of Yuna marrying Kadaj, for they knew she was only doing it to try and forget about Tidus. It wasn't true love, and they knew it. The only one she'd truly loved was Tidus.
Despite their complaints, Yuna decides to go through with the marriage. She's confident that with Kadaj, she can learn to fall in love again and live a happy life. She knows she can go through with the wedding...for now.
By the time the wedding arrives, the doubt had been eating away at Yuna so much that she was now having second thoughts. She had not once forgotten Tidus like she planned, and she still wasn't happy. But once she finally realized this, she was already walking down the aisle.
Kadaj was waiting for her at the alter, unaware of her final decision. She just couldn't go through with this; she'd never be able to forget Tidus, and she didn't love Kadaj.
Without another thought, Yuna slips off her ring and drops it into Kadaj's hand.
"Even if I was with you...I could never forget." Kadaj is speechless, realizing he's now lost Yuna for the final time. This was a battle he would never be able to win. Without objection, he watched Yuna walk away from him once again.
Yuna wandered around Spira, with nowhere to go after walking out on her own wedding. She began remembering the illusion of Tidus that now seemed like a fading dream. It was strange, even though he was dead it just seemed so real...
While pondering this, she turns and notices something moving towards her.
An all-too familiar face appeared before her, just as clear as day...
