A short video to demonstrate some of the cymbals that I make.

In this clip, they are mostly thin Bronze and some thin Stainless Steel Crash Cymbals. At the bottom of the display there are also 1 heavy and 2 medium Bronze Ride Cymbals.

  • Really really amazing saounding. These all sound amazing, I love the hand-hammered look on cymbals, please tell me you keep them that way?

  • @PacisVictus I do all sorts of finishes on my cymbals. It depends on whether it is for a customer or for general stock and also on what sound I am seeking. But, a lot of the time, the hammering remains very visible.

  • I'm Intrigued!

Do you make china cymbals as well?

  • @Lexcoaster Yes. I make China cymbals. But not very frequently. Send me an email if you have a particular requirement. Cheers, Matt.

  • Hey Matt, do you think it would be possible to create a ride with barely any wash? kind of like a zilbel, but more like a ride sound. i havent been able to find one like that and i thought maybe you could give me some tips

  • @xXguitardude9Xx The typical "ride with no wash" is a flat ride - i.e. one without a bell, but this produces a sound that is all stick. It sounds like you are looking for all ping, right? Look for a heavy cymbal, probably with a big bell, maybe even with the word "mega" in its name...
