Yeah, seeing how FFXI was a rather successful cross platform MMO it would have been silly not to the next MMO the same.

it is a galka, they took the races from 11 and changed them a bit. like taru now have fat waists not heads XD

I see Galka, hume and elvaan, where's mithra?

Can't be a Galka, unless they lost their tails. Mithras ARE there apparently, though. Check out the official page, there's a big image where you can see elvaans and taru taru around as well.

In the game there will be new races... they will look like the old races except slightly different and they will have other names.... look at the Galka > It has no tail

if you look really carefully, at :27 seconds, the person with their arms out with the big giant force field of doom...looks like a mithra
