A short video showing the gear I carry on my bike for mountain bike photography and how I carry it - featuring Canon digital SLR gear and the Lowepro Sport 200 AW camera pack. More info on the Web site: http://reviews.photographyreview.com/camera-bag-video-mountain-biking-photo-john
@ar4216 It's a matter of compromises. For most of 2011 I did ride with the Micro Four Thirds gear. But if I need continuous auto focus then I have to ride with the DSLR. I also wanted to show that this pack can carry a pretty large camera and lens. I do really like the Olympus Pen cameras and the Sony NEX-5N image quality is amazing.

If size is important why not go with your micro four thirds set up? Is it not tough enough and the auto focus not up to par? I've been reading rumors about an upcoming Olympus OM-D. Rumored to look similar to an old OM style camera and be weatherproof. Sounds pretty exciting. Hope Olympus sends you one to review!

@ar4216 Depends on the use. For skiing and mountain biking the 7D is great. It's relatively small and light and the speed and auto focus are excellent. Full frame would be better for low light work but for the most part, the 7D is more than adequate for my needs. And I definitely don't want a bigger camera when I'm on the bike.

Would you prefer a full frame to the 7D?
