@puterboy1 I Honestly can't remember. It looked very exciting though. The intro featured george c scott sitting in a directors chair in front of a zeppelin hanger. You would have to find out through other sources if the crash scene was filmed in color or black & white. If universal decides to do a decent blu-ray of the hindenburg, The featurette , the trailer and if possible: the crash sequence in color, would be cool special features.

I have been a big fan of the Hindenburg since the movie came out in 1975. I would check out library books about the subject. I recall my mom telling me that a special about the hindenburg was coming on tv, It was a behind the scenes featurette hosted by george c scott. I have been trying to find it on youtube but have had no luck, I was hoping it would have been on the LD release and/ or the dvd. No such luck. I'm hoping if it comes to blu-ray that it will be included.
