  • Nicely done! I guess the workflow will be a lot simpler with the HM700 ;-)

  • Not really. The problem with long-GOP formats is that Cinema Tools can't conform them to a different frame rate until they have been transcoded to an all I-frame codec (the ProRes codecs are ideal for this.) Alternatively you can put a native 60P clip in a 24P sequence and then change the speed to 40%. However this method won't work if you plan to use multicam.

    you can just speed up the song by (x) percent, put it in your ipod, and then lipsync to the faster version of the song, and then slow down your video by (x) percent and there you have it.

  • Wow that seems to be a real pain in the ass. alot of converting whereas in Sony Vegas or Premiere the clips drop straight in.

    I hope Final Cut Pro X has fixed that.
