A bit of moving Lomography! Kodak Tri X Super 8 film self developed "bucket style" as a negative in Ilfosol film developer, agitated for 8 minutes.

Inverted after telecine. Shot on a Quarz 1x8C-2 clockwork cine camera from Russia.

Sadly the youtube compression doesn't do it justice. It is very sharp in reality.

  • this was amazing, the music made me feel the visuals very deeply

  • Ah! Liverpool. So much to answer for. Yours aye, Dummy Jim.

  • No, only kodachrome worked like that - and Kodak don't make that as Super 8 anymore.

It is black and white because Tri-X is a black and white film, not a color one. That isn't affected by whether it is developed at home or done in a professional lab.

I am not totally sure, but the sepia looking tint may be due to being processed as a negative for a film that was adjusted to end up as a positive.

  • Mozart - Clarinet Concerto in A major Adagio

  • ok with regular 8 and super 8 color is added during developing so is that why its black and white??because u developed it yourself?
