CITROEN VISA 652cc SHOW No 1

The Citroen Visa Special "twin pot" has a 652cc flat twin engine developing about 35 bhp and 36 ft/lbs. Top speed is 78 mph with a 0-60 mph of 26.2 secs. The Visa Special is very much quieter at speed than the Dyane/2CV. Ride comfort is good. Hills and a heavy load are not what it likes. It is claimed by Citroen to be the first car in the world with integral electronic ignition. There may be fewer than 10 on the road in the UK.

@anassgame The C registration Visa is a 2 cylinder PETROL car, as are the brown and red cars. The red car is not taxed to be on the road at present. When this video was made, the blue car was the only twin cylinder Visa regularly attending Citroen Car Club meetings: this was the first time 3 twin pot Visas had been seen together for some years. There are now two others on the road but still less than 10 in the UK.

I think the "brown one" was bought in France; taken to Northern Ireland and then to England.

Many of the 652cc engines have also gone into Lomax Specials.

really only 2 cylinders? (now it makes sense the noise of old citroens, what about my uncle's gs ? ) i was grown up in a mitsubishi lancer of 79 1.100 cc and i was complaining.....after that no more complains
