A beautiful fiddle/violin piece by Jay Ungar; composed recently...featured music from Ken Burns Civil War documentary...a beautiful piece played at Civil War Re-enactment in Yale, OK 2011 Battle of Round Mountain. Samantha has been playing violin in this video for 1 1/2 years; Jed Marum patiently and graciously teamed up with us for some fiddle/banjo fun times. Forgot to say we are Civil War re-enactor' (wannabees') Enjoy!

@denmccar - Yes Dennis. She's a delightful young player and really has the gift! We played a few over the weekend. I kept trying to tell her that once she masters the banjo she can step UP to the banjo!
... don't think she bought it, though!

Hey thanks all for good feedback...she is new violinist-just 1 1/2 years...looking forward to more growth...stay tuned...this wknd she plays her first concerto...will hope to post next week if audio turns out good enough!
