my dad knew many these guys that were killed during the WW2. my dad was shot in Sicily ,Thanks to my God father RMS Stu .i got this name for saving my dad in battle, from ex 48 th Stuart Andrews,RIP late SGT John ( Rocky ) Andrews and my brother John who also was member of the regiment

In the last 10 years I've met some beautiful people of the 48th Highlanders, I feel honored and I am very proud of it! These people have a special place in my heart.

Great but, sad video. Many are so young looking. Their family never had a chance to bring them home, not like today. We shall always remember them.
