Green Screen Experiment #1

WCC has a beautiful green screen studio. I had one of my fellow students use my camera to quickly capture some video to play with. Here's the first result. I tried two tools in Final Cut Pro, the 'blue and green screen' filter, and the 'chroma keyer' effect to see which might give the better result. For this shot I think the 'blue and green screen' filter gave the better result, though I think the chroma keyer might be better, just it has more bells and whistles to figure out :) Both left a lot to be desired, which I chalk up to this being my first go and using footage that was just quickly shot. Fun to work with though.
