@fabulitor Agreed! I was a chevy v8 enthusiast for many years, but once I went to a PCA autox and heard those flat6s sing, I was hooked! I have a silver '99 911 cab now, and yes, the sound is the best part :) No other motor can make that weird mechanical noise that a porsche does so well! Makes me wonder how the air cooled ones sounded :)
