That's really not true. "Swear words" are great for expression as their use conveys the severity of the situation to the listener. "Fucking hell" has a bigger, more visceral impact than "flipping heck".

If anything, by restricting your language based solely on the logic than something's "bad because it is", you're the one with the limited vocabulary. Swear words ARE real words and are used regularly around the world, you can't just close your eyes and wish them away.

Because people who use those words end up with a limited vocabulary and are not as intelligent due to using silly words like that out of anger rather than using real and descriptive expressions. By learning real words and exercising self restraint, we have a more civilized society. Sadly, we are losing it and I am seeing more people with your attitude.
