The banners being raised of Andy Bathgate & Harry Howell no.'s 9 & 3 to the rafters of Madison Square Garden on Feb.22, 2009. Probably the last time a ceremony like this will take place on the Garden ice for a long, long time.
Chubba, You are probably right. The only people I can think of who can have a ceremony like this is Vic Hadfield if they decide to double retire number 11 (I make you bet Messier cries if that happens) and even further down the road should he stay with the Rangers, Henrik Lundqvist could get this honor.
Thank you for posting this Ceremony. In New York City, Now we can't wear #1 Ed Giacomin, #3 Harry Howeel, #7 Rod Gilbert, #9 Adam Graves, Andy Bathgate, #11 Mark Messier and #35 Mike Richter. I felt bad that Michael Rozival had to give up #3. I'm glad he gave it up and went with #33.
I meant you forgot to mention him

I mean I don't care cause I hate the Rangers with every ounce of blood in my body but I'm just saying...
