Does the Education System need Re-Educating?

Date: Thursday, October 21, 2009

"To repair the world - is to repair education". Yanush Korchak's words reverberate louder in today's era of acute change in which disciplines are rapidly becoming outdated and ethical frameworks fluctuate. Should education systems and methods of instruction around the world and in Israel be modified to ensure that our children adjust to tomorrow's challenges and contribute to its design? Can we prepare our children for tomorrow and still maintain the roots and values of the past?
