i'm not sure you are benefitting off the 3.64 diff since you shift gears too often !

right, And maby it seems... but my car had automatic gearbox ;) M5 e39 diff is 3.12, M6 is 3.64, makes a difference yes. Time aint that good because automatic gearbox need to change gears 4 times, instead of 3 times before on 1/4 mile race.

bullshit!! the 540i is in front of the 535, and he even missed a shift too...the 540i won the race. its WAY in front of the 535...haha stop lying

This 540i bimmer is mine. why should i lie? i lost because the strange 4th gear delay. btw my car stock weight (is 1880kg) and default is 1730kg.. i have protected glasses, sound system etc:) But well it was worth a try, 535D won ! ;)
