Freedom on the internet is under attack from the telecommunications industry. Seven minute documentary discussing the current situation and possible future repercussions.
Here in the Uk the government is snooping on emails, so it is fun to circumvent it. They claim it is a terrorism issue but as usual that is nonsense. Does not esplain why 600 agencies need access to it! Very simply circumvented but governemt have never understood technology.
They should rather call it slow burst, I am so angry at Slumcast. I am mad about there abuse of there customers by throttling bandwidth ,long lengths of repeated unexplained outages..limiting were we go on the internet, and monitoring our surfing and selling out information to 3rd parties so they can send ads to us.The service is so way way over priced..I refuse to pay for crappy service.
Just remember..It' Slumcastic! I got a DSL anyways.
It is the most poerful communication Tool in the history of mankind --think of that the most poerful communication tool---that is what they are truely afraid of our ability to mass communicate --this is not just boaut MONEY so they can call a few more hookers for a few OLD FARTS this about HUMAN being able to mass communicate...
6 companies control the message for the radio and television industry. Already your local radio station is owned by a corporation that has interests in China, Australia, and London. The primary motive of these stations is keeping the stockholder happy. This is done by making the message mediocre, no scream is heard from the man who is dying in the hood it just doesn't sale.
Coming soon: BRANDED INTERNET. For example, though "AT&T" or "Comcast" may have a network in your neighborhood, soon you will enjoy choice of branded internet from a different company through their network...just like IPTV. The biggest obstacle is getting our local networks built BIG enough to deal with the bandwidth. It needs to happen FAST. Big questions...How to get it done?...Who PAYS to build it? If Gov't gets involved...FEES FOR ALL on internet bill...constant bickering...slow build.
NO NET NEUTRALITY! Keep the information free from government censorship and control.
