Breathe- Chapter Four

The blue-eyed, brunette hair-colored beauty---

This guy was completely nuts! It's been almost two minutes since I freakin' saved him from suicide. The most he did was open his mouth to look like he was going to speak, but nothing came out. Did I need to slap him to get a response out of him?

My eyes ran down his figure. The boy wore a simple, white t-shirt and ruffled up jeans wrapped loosely around his torso.

The curls that once stood perfectly on his head were now flat over his forehead, protecting his vulnerable spheres. My knees grew weak and found themselves bending down close to him, examining all his beautiful features:
His skin looked so soft; I almost had to force my fingers from tracing across it. Then my eyes skipped over his nose and to his precious lips. Moist, plump... untouched. I gazed back into his brown marbles that shaded a delicious chocolate hue that could hypnotize anyone with the slightest gaze.

He was... perfect.

Oh, God! What am I thinking?

My orbs flickered, letting me escape from the trance of this unknown stranger. _______________________________________________________

"Hellooo... Earth to... uhm..." the brunette bit down on her lower lip, assuming in her mind various ways to awaken him. "Boy?" the best she could come up considering she has never seen this curly-haired lunatic. She swayed her hand in front of Nick's puzzled face.

His eyes blinked a few times and eyebrows cringed down, and shoved her away.

"Who the hell are you?" he screeched when his eyes quickly scanned her body. She wore what looked like a green and blue quilted dress that been snipped apart by scissors in a reckless manner. Her feet were protected by gray converse. The nails on her fingers were obviously chewed, revealing the shy, nervous angel that was trying to hidden. Oceanic, blue orbs and flawless auburn locks that fell endlessly over her shoulders.

She broadened her eyes a bit. Situating her gentle hands on her not-fully-grown hips, and her lips spit out irritably, "Excuse me?"

Nick pushed off from the ground and stood up, brushing the grass straws that had found their way onto his jeans. "You heard me." He crossed his scrawny arms across his chest, glowering at her.

The brunette scoffed. "Well, gee, you're welcome. It was nothing... practically saving your life! " she raised her arms along with her volume of voice as she found her way back on her feet, confronting the bewildered lad.

"I'm not thanking you for anything! I don't even know you nor want you here!" Nick bawled with his hands gesturing high as well.

She prodded her finger against his chest, hard. "I prevented you from suicide!"

His lower lip started to tremble. "I didn't need to be saved!" he wailed as he legs wobbled and plunged to tree once again. Closing his spheres, his hand set sideways over his forehead. A single tear fell from one of his precious eyes. "I didn't even want to be saved," he breathes out.

The girl's expression grew soft.

Strangely, she saw herself in him.

Kneeling back down, she crawled closer to him and placed her hand onto his quivering shoulder.

"Miley."

Nick glanced back into her oceanic marbles. "What?"

"My name's Miley," she whispered as her lips curved into a small smile.
