It's so strange how completely different he looks in his films before, say, 1937 or 38 and the ones after. I know he got a tan and lost the makeup, but it's as if his very features changed in some way. So weird.

Was Cary Grant in this whole movie or just this scene?

I just saw the whole film! Yes, Cary Grant is in the whole thing. It was his first feature film, and a forerunner of the screwball comedies that he would do later. Made in 1932. A great film - - see it if you can! Cary sings quite a bit in this film and is quite good at it.

Where did you locate this old movie?

I got it from a friend of mine who is a film buff. He recorded it off TV. It is a wonderful film - - one of Cary Grant's funniest roles. You can probably get it on ebay - - it has not been officially released yet, although if enough people lobby hard enough it will be! No Cary Grant collection is complete without it!
