My suspicion was Dan Browne - Fam's teammate from the 2004 Olympics, so someone Fam would potentially know well and pull for... also, a guy with solid credentials, but who wasn't getting any press (respect?) going into the Trial... and who was clearly fit enough to make the noise Fam thought his "mystery" pick could make.
