Many of us remember the albums made by Geoff Love and his orchestra in the 1970's where he would perform a cover version of a well-loved theme but adapt it in the disco style. So what if the opening credits of Space:1999 had the Geoff Love music instead of the familiar Barry Gray theme...? Here's how it might have looked...

Hi, Darth334 -
I have had the recording for years now. But the good news for Geoff Love fans is that, as I write this, you can currently get the album from iTunes UK! "Star Wars and Other Space Themes" contains most of the 1970's disco versions previously issued in the late 1970's (Star Trek, Blake's 7, Doctor Who, UFO, Logan's Run etc.). And of course, the full version of Space: 1999 in all its glory(!) as I have edited it for the credit sequence here.
