you can find other tutorials on those areas... which go in depth - sometimes ten minutes. for the pencil - is your layer selected properly?

I can't get the white lines to draw with the pencil tool? Everything else works up to that stage.

Also, it would be useful to show: how to do splices, add links and how to import it into dreamweaver.

Shame it's only half a tutorial - other wise it would be excellent.
