Does the direction of the current through the coil affect the sound? I mean, you get a force and sound either way, but it's the changes of direction that actually matter, right? So if compressions and decompressions are swapped around by running the current the other way, the sound is not going to wind up being distinguishably different, is it? Or am I making a mistake here?

@WiggaMachiavelli No. You have it right! I was going to tell you that by reversing the polarity the sound would be backwards, but that would be just silly.

wtf, your speaker wasn´t working at 3:34, it was the real music, because it was stereo, not mono, and it hears very good to be your speaker. sorry, no insult, just aclaration.

@TheSupertecnology I actually said that I 'dubbed' the music because of the poor recording quality combined with the speaker. This is not a HIGH QUALITY speaker... just a proof of concept.

if i were to do this same thing but connect a pair of headphones, with the ear buds cut off, how would i connect the coiled wire on the cup to the headphones?

@alexisoviedo100 Earbuds are designed to be very small. Probably would not work the same. Sorry.
