http://iphonelife.com I chatted with Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for iPad at Macworld 2011. You can get a quick tour of the app by watching the video. I've been using this app for awhile, and I learned a few new skills just by watching this quick demo from the floor, so check it out.

You can create and edit Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations with this updated app. PowerPoint was the missing ingredient until December of 2010. I create a lot of PowerPoints and this update made this app a go-to on my iPad for work.

You'll see in the video how Quickoffice integrates with numerous cloud services, like MobileMe, Dropbox, Google Docs, Box.net, Huddle, and SugarSync. I use Dropbox and Google Docs on a regular basis, so this is a great feature for those of us who travel (even if it's just to the corner coffeeshop!).

Notice in the video where he talks about using a Quickoffice PowerPoint in a presentation using your iPad. This part goes by quickly, but is one of the best features of the app for business use, in my opinion. Notice how he can hold his finger on the presentation slide and a red laser dot appears. Nice.

Off the record (they wouldn't let me video tape it...) they showed me a new feature for the iPad app coming later this year - integration with various real-time collaboration services. By dragging your documents onto an icon, you can instantly save your files to services like Scribd, SlideShare, and Docstoc. This seals the deal for me. Now I can do 100% of my work related tasks on the iPad.

Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for iPad costs $24.99, but is currently $14.99 for an unspecified limited time. It requires iOS 3.2 or later.

I can't say it any better than these Reviews:

"Put simply, if your business runs on Microsoft Office, your smartphone needs to run Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite."-FierceMobileContent

"Quickoffice is my overall favorite application thanks to the iPad optimized user experience, Word and Excel import and export capability, easy file management, and reasonable price."- Matthew Miller, ZDNet

"If you require an office suite as part of your iPad app arsenal, QuickOffice Connect would make a solid choice. Its good "production values" mean that there's almost no learning curve if you already use Microsoft Office"- Macworld

"Quickoffice Packs Power in a Small Space"- eWeek.com

"Quickoffice for iPad also creates in, saves to and shares with Microsoft Office, supporting .DOC, .DOCX, .XLS and .XLSX formats. This alone makes it more valuable than iWork to the 80% or more of us whose workplaces have adopted Office or Office-compatible productivity suites."- AppChronicles
