NSSA began their nine days of competition for World skeet titles this year on October 3rd with the 12 gauge Mini-World event. Only eight shooters ran 100 for the day then got past the first round of shoot offs to qualify to be in the final shoot off in the stadium field at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio Texas.
The Mini-World is a short quick tune-up tournament that runs the three days before the Main Events and allows everyone to work out a few jitters about being at such a great shoot.
Note that Mr. Robert Paxton of PAXTON ARMS in Dallas was among those on the field and be sure to thank him the next time you see him for continuing to video tape the history that is made each year at the World Skeet Shooting Championships. While Robert was busy shooting, Billy Ray Suggs and a few friends helped out by doing a great play-by-play of the shoot off.
Nope... it's from the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio Texas.
