  • oooh, have you thought about straightening her hair?...(not chemically of course)

  • @luvfunnyflix - tried straightening B's with a flat iron twice before we loced it. I wasn't that good at it. I am too worried about burning her head/ears and I get all anxious feeling about damage I might be causing to her hair with the flat iron. It might be silly, but that's just me!

  • she is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL little girl. you are a great mother and your children are so lucky to have you, regardless of race. i am a mother of 2 bi-racial children, and watch your videos alot to perfect my braiding skills on my daughters very very curly dry hair. GOD BLESS YOU!!

  • @mellyz2be - Thank you! We are so lucky to have each other and I am really happy that my videos have been helpful to you!

  • Hey Katelynylyn, Your videos are awesome and as a mother of color all race stuff aside, you have taught me alot about managing my daughters hair, which is similar to your daughters. In the video you had a product in your hand (8:55), what was that?

  • @shamecca2003 - It is called "Curly, Kinky, Natural Herbal Comb Out" it is a detangler in the children's line from Taliah Waajid

  • I have so much respect for you. Keep up the good work.

  • Her hair is sooo long and well taking care of! this mom wasnt playing around

  • All i can think of is...Wow you're pretty amazing!

  • Wonderful job....!!!

  • Great mom! You are awesome for giving a child a chance at a great life! But, as an African American women I have to advise you combing through wet after cornrows is damaging. You should oil it first and brush the shedded hair through with a paddle brush. And I wouldn't recommend anyone leaving natural cornrows in for 5 weeks! Extended box braids maybe.. But great job beautiful girl and god bless!

  • I am a woman from the Caribbean and love to watch how you handle you're child's hair. Even my mother didn't always had the patient do that, many times I cried while she was doing my hair and I had a lot of hair to work with! LOL

  • Sorry that wasnt mean for this vid meant for another vid

  • Yeah keep on not using a thermal protector with heat styling tools and see how your hair ends up

  • a good technique when you want to shampoo her hair is to leave the twists in while shes in the shower and massage the shampoo into just her scalp, and after you rinse that out you can condition each individual twist or take the twists out and condition the whole thing.

  • shes adorable
