Imagine if they had enemies with white/black textures corresponding to which "zone" the player is currently in; white enemies for white "zone" etc.
Then these enemies would not be hit by the balls, but would cast shadows on the painted areas; a white monster would cast a white shadow which could only be seen if the played sprayed black paint on a white wall...
I would piss my pants...

Yes, this is a good concept, but where is the challenge? I would get kinda tired painting walls of mazes for a couple hours. If they add a bit of suspense and a bit of challnge, it would skyrocket!
