I love both versions of this song and people need to stop giving avril such a hard time. And the songs aren't identical. Avril: hey hey you you I don't like your girlfriend. No way no way I think you need a new one.

I love this song! I'm a huge oldies fan, but I'd actually never heard this song until the whole Avril Lavigne controversy. I'm no fan of Avril, but I have to say... this song and Avril's song are really not that similar. The only similar part is "Hey Hey You You" which is also used in "Get Off My Cloud" by the Rolling Stones. So I don't think it's a rip off.
