"Disturbia" is a song by Barbadian recording artist Rihanna, from her third studio album, Good Girl Gone Bad. The song was written by Andre Merritt, Chris Brown, Brian Kennedy,[1] Robert Allen, and produced by Brian Kennedy; Background vocals were performed by Brown and Merritt. It was sent to radio in North America on June 17, 2008 and physically released as a single in the United Kingdom on July 22, 2008. It is the third single from the re-release of the album, following "Take a Bow" and "If I Never See Your Face Again".

Critical reception of the song was generally positive by many critics, who complimented its dark musical tone. The song was Rihanna's highest debut on the US Billboard Hot 100 to date and also attained success, topping the charts in New Zealand as well as reaching the top five in Canada, France, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
