In my state they teach you to never pull over in an unpopulated area for your own safety. Always try to find a well lit area off of the main road to pull over. I once was pulled over on the highway and the policeman, over the loudspeaker, told me to drive to the next exit and pull in to the gas station. I did, he questioned me, ran my papers and let me go with a warning. Wasn't 8 miles by no means, though.

@poornation I understand exactly what you mean but he should know better
about the bad guys who go around and pretending to be troopers & they go
after women and take more than money & he should be familiar with that
because we already know what she was thinking.He has no common sense
at all & he was over REacting but she should be grateful that she's still alive.

@massimo38 Yeah, but you have to see it from both ends of the spectrum. The cop was chasing her down the highway for 8 miles, lights flashing and siren blazing. To him he probably thought she was attempting to lead a police pursuit, especially after he caught her speeding. However, the way he reacted was over the top.
