Malibu devastated by wildfires

A wildfire fuelled by strong winds forced the evacuation of Pepperdine University and hundreds of luxury homes in southern California on Sunday.

The blaze started late Saturday, driven by strong winds and dry conditions. By Sunday morning, the fire had burned more than 200 hectares in Ventura County and had destroyed five structures, including a church, a castle and several homes, officials said. But no one has been reported injured or missing.
